Sponsorship Spotlight: Sajjan Raj Vaidya – The Ghumi Phiri Tour, San Francisco

Sajjan Raj Vaidya is a New York-based Nepali-American singer, songwriter, and guitarist who has carved a unique space in the global music scene. Blending elements of indie, folk, pop, and alternative genres, Sajjan is known for his deeply emotional lyrics, soulful melodies, and genre-defying sound. Over the years, he has become a cultural icon for the Nepali diaspora, using music to bridge distance, identity, and emotion.

We were truly honored to be part of his journey as sponsors of the San Francisco leg of his Ghumi Phiri Tour. Classic Diamond & Jewelry, in partnership with Maana Paathi, supported this incredible concert, contributing to a night that brought together music, culture, and community. Our involvement was more than just a sponsorship, it was a celebration of art and heritage, and a chance to support a voice that resonates with so many.

On Saturday, January 13th, 2024, the iconic Regency Ballroom in San Francisco became the backdrop for an unforgettable evening. The venue, known for its historic elegance and world-class acoustics, was the perfect setting for Sajjan’s emotionally rich and captivating performance.

From the moment he walked on stage, the energy was electric. Fans gathered from across the Bay Area and beyond to be part of this special night. The connection between Sajjan and the audience was immediate and powerful: every lyric sung, every melody strummed, was met with cheers, singing, and heartfelt applause. It was more than a concert; it was a shared moment of joy, nostalgia, and cultural pride.

We are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to support this event. It gave us a chance to help bring such a magnificent talent to the Bay Area and offer the local community an experience that blended music and meaning in the most beautiful way.

Being part of this night reminded us of why we do what we do, connecting with our community, uplifting Nepali talent, and creating space for shared cultural experiences. The Ghumi Phiri Tour may have come to a close, but the memories of this night in San Francisco will stay with us and all who attended for a long time.
